Dr. Glen Miller

Glen Miller is the co-author or Sustain the Gain which you may know is a 3 part post on this blog.  Glen and I also wrote an article for Food Processing magazine titled Lean, Green, and Clean Food Processing a couple years ago.  I am especially appreciative of Glen for taking the time to mentor me when I was transitioning into Lean Consulting. Each of the 3 segments are long enough that I thought it would be best to post his bio separately:

Glen Miller is a performance and process improvement consultant providing expertise in lean manufacturing. Glen provides value consulting by establishing goals, measuring outcomes, and working with all levels of the organization to achieve results.

Glen’s experience ranges from full time assistant professor at Temple University, to Director of Training for PECO Energy, to owner of Performance Essentials, Inc. Glen has provided utilities and manufacturers consulting services that enhance productivity through better utilization of individual and group creativity & problem-solving (kaizen). Most recently, Glen has been providing leaner lean consultation for food processors and various manufacturers.

Glen’s education includes: a Bachelors in Labor Relations, a Masters in Industrial Technology and a Doctorate in Education. All degrees are from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. Moreover, he is certified in Process Improvement and continues his education by attending trade and professional programs.

Glen is also serving as Co-Director of the Veterans Community Network.
